Founding story
EAU CLINIC was founded by Dutch sisters Nicole and Melissa, who saw the need for a more patient-centered approach to medical aesthetics. With their expertise and passion, they set out to elevate the standard of care in Lisbon.
Born and raised in Amsterdam to Portuguese parents, they felt a deep connection to their roots. Drawn to Lisbon’s vibrant culture and natural beauty, they relocated: not just to embrace their heritage, but to bring their high standards of quality and professionalism to the city’s growing medical aesthetics scene.
Melissa, our experienced skin therapist, has always been deeply passionate about skin health and overall well-being. Nurturing and naturally curious, she ensures that every client feels fully supported and understood. Her meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for people are the heart of her approach at EAU CLINIC. Melissa constantly seeks new knowledge and treatments, keeping her at the forefront of skin therapy and holistic health.
Nicole, the creative behind the brand EAU, brings a unique creative flair to the clinic, backed by her experience in marketing for renowned brands. Her keen eye for design, branding, and customer experience has shaped EAU CLINIC's distinct identity. Nicole intuitively understands what clients want but mostly need, ensuring that every aspect of the clinic reflects those insights.

The name EAU CLINIC is inspired by the French word eau (pronounced oh), meaning ‘water’—a symbol of life, renewal, and transformation. Water has the power to heal, cleanse, and infuse vitality, and it has been a source of inspiration for the founders since childhood.
