Do you work with everyone?
Nathan's coaching is for anyone who’s ready to put in consistent effort toward impactful health goals and has a coachable mindset. If you already have some training experience, you’ll have a bit of a head start, but it’s no problem if you’re starting for the very first time. As long as you don’t have major injuries or medical conditions that require specialized care, you can work together.
Nathan believes everyone deserves the chance to improve their health, and is committed to creating a plan that truly moves you forward.
What sets you apart from a personal trainer or a nutritionist?
First of all, Nathan has great respect for both fields. He started as a personal trainer himself, so he knows how much value a high quality trainer can bring to someone’s fitness and overall quality of life. The same goes for skilled nutritionists.
However, his experience shows that these fields on their own do not provide the full answer for longevity. Longevity is about identifying (genetic) risks, reducing them, and improving the most potent markers through an action oriented plan that helps someone get the most out of both their healthspan and their lifespan. Exercise and nutrition remain the main elements, but they become part of a broader strategy designed to support long term health in a proven and sustainable way.
I want to improve my health, but the idea of changing my whole life feels overwhelming. How does the coaching make this manageable?
It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed when you think about exercising or changing things if you’re not used to it. If so, there’s especially major potential for you, since a lot is being left on the table for sure.
Nathan translates his clients’ plans into simple daily actions that grow into routines over time. You are not pushed into a strict lifestyle and you are not expected to be perfect. Nearly all clients experience some ups and downs and still achieve strong results. The goal is a manageable path forward that can be adjusted along the way, not turning your life upside down.
Can I bring my own input and priorities?
Yes, your input is important. That is why we start by giving it plenty of attention. This helps us create plans that suit your unique situation and support your goals. At the same time, the most potent markers for optimizing longevity are clear and require focused work. While Nathan will always do his best to make the plan enjoyable, the goal is still to make progress on these markers. You will learn all about this throughout the process.
