Traditionally, incorporating PDO into aesthetic treatments required manually inserting physical threads under the skin to mechanically pull and lift tissue. Timing is everything: Schedule your treatment at least two weeks before any big event. While most people recover quickly, it’s best to allow some time for any minor swelling or a small bruise to settle.
Be mindful of blood thinners: To minimize the chance of bruising, try to avoid blood-thinning supplements like Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, and Fish Oil, as well as Ibuprofen or Aspirin, for about 3 to 5 days before your visit (unless prescribed by your doctor).
Skip the alcohol: For the best results and a smoother recovery, we recommend skipping alcoholic drinks for 24 hours before your appointment, as alcohol can increase the risk of bruising.
Cold sore history: If you have a history of cold sores in the treatment area, please let us know in advance. Your provider may prescribe a preventive antiviral to keep your skin calm.
Skin health first: We want your skin to be in top shape. Please ensure the treatment area is free from active rashes, infections, or inflammation on the day of your appointment.

1. Skin Disinfection & Comfort: The treatment area is thoroughly sanitized with an antiseptic solution. To make the session more comfortable, we apply a local numbing. Although you may still feel some sensitivity or a "pinching" sensation during the treatment, we do everything we can to make the experience as gentle as possible for you.

2. The Injection Process:

The physician delivers the solution into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer, choosing the technique that best suits your needs:

These effects are temporary and typically improve within 48 hours, though a small bruise can occasionally take a few days to fade. What to do and what to avoid:

Try not to touch, rub, or apply pressure to the treated area for the first 24 hours to keep the area clean and let the product settle.
